Ricky Bloomfield's self titled debut concept album broke a long hiatus and began a transition towards a new standard of recordings for the young songwriter.

After the breakdown of his marriage Bloomfield wanted to create a concept album that stylistically followed a love cycle, chronicalling the rise and fall of a love affair.

Co-produced by Bloomfield himself and ARIA Award winning producer Pete Holz, 'Ricky Bloomfield' is a sonic exploration vintage synths and guitars, organic drums and lush overdubs. The album also features stunning performances of some of Australia's finest musicians including Gordon Rytmeister and Dave Tweedie.

This limited editon release has been specially remastered for CD and includes the previously unreleased live versions of "Strut", "Inertia (What Are We Trying To Find?)"  and "Strange Place" recorded live at a support set for Bob Dylan's concert at ICC Sydney in 2019.
