“Corinne has musicianship, voice, and sex appeal" - Linda Rondstadt
Produced by Corinne Gibbons
We’ve Only Just Begun, is a loving dedication to the music of the Carpenters, is Corinne’s 4th album and brought together some of LA’s most gifted musicians to co-create this honouring of the Carpenters music. Jon Gilutin, Leland Sklar, Kara Grainger and Mike Shapiro.
The album was recorded in just three days and Corinne sang live with her band under the roof of Bill Schnee Studios- a tradition rarely seen these days. It is no surprise that Bill has won 17 Grammy awards, he really is a master of sound” says Corinne of her friend. I t was a privilege to work with such a gifted team of co-creators.
Linda Ronstadt complimented Corinne on her delivery and musicianship on the album, “Corinne has musicianship, voice, and sex appeal" This was a humbling moment for Corinne as Linda has been one of her inspirations as a fellow vocalist.
